The Silver Jews are finally making a North Texas appearance, the first that we've heard of since Dave Berman went to the Greenhill School in Addison. The show is September 20th at Hailey's. Can you imagine the sing-along if they play "Dallas?"

I always wonder why everyone always says "new album sucks" and then like two years later they name it off as a staple of their musical repetoire.
Like who's going to give a shit if you secretly like an album that other people think sucks balls.
I personally think the new Silver Jews album is good.
Dave Berman and those two dixie chicks should do a "Greenhill's Finest" tour.
I really do think it is not so good,and I will not be touting it as great in 2 years,3 years,or 10 years.I do not secretly like it,but you may believe what you wish.Sometimes,an honest opinion is just that.
Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea is good IMHO. Different, but still good. I'll be looking forward to this show.
