Dallas DIY Venue Attempts to Re-Open

Remember the new Dallas DIY spot we told you about several months ago that eventually burned down in a tragic fire? Well, according to Myspace posts from the operators of the venue, they are making a valiant attempt to re-build and re-open the venue in the very near future. Located at 436 Haskell Ave., the crew in charge of running the place is looking for fundraising and construction help, and if you're interested, you can contact the proprietors through their Myspace page, or speak with any of them in person this Saturday at the Bike House BBQ/Party. This could be a big step in the right direction for Dallas, so we hope they're able to pull this off. More details to come...

i dont think its really a step for dallas
its in such a deep shit hole
that it has to climb awhile before it can take a step

And the people involved are SKEtCHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some were running redblood club before it crumbled.

No one that involve with owning or managing Red Blood Club is involved with the New Space. I hope that this space can spread some good. We are officially going to be a non-profit, doing charity work as well music. Dallas does have a climb to get out of the hole it\'s in, but I think this year we\'ll get out of it.

a \"step in the right direction\" would be to get rid of all these goddamn crusty punx.

these kids remind me of the last scene of penelope spheeris\' \'suburbia\'..who knew these \'punky-colour\' hot-topic bitches were so fertile?

Actually these crusty punx aren\'t the problem. It\'s the stupid fuckin squares of Dallas that want west ends on every fuckin block imaginable. You\'re given to much power to those crusty punx. You wouldnt want to really do that now do you? I thought so.

so i thought this was pretty cool, whether it gets off the ground or not, so i tried to add them as a friend on myspace.

they\'ll accept our money, but they\'re not interested in a friend request from a band. gonna hazard a guess that they DON\'T get it off the ground.

it\'s cause yo band sucks foo

Why waste money on expensive inefficient solar panels when you can get 100% renewable energy from Green Mountain Energy for about the same price as TXU?

Oh right, because these people are fuckin dumb.
